Deven offers in-person and online training workshops that can be taken a la carte or as part of her 95 hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training. An E-RYT 500 and published author of "The Yamas in Pajamas", she is a stand alone leader in the field of Kids Yoga Teacher Trainings. Deven has been teaching yoga to adults and children since 2005, and AcroYoga since 2007. There are two tracks to certification offered in a modular format- one is a "classic" kids yoga track or Family AcroYoga. Each program begins with "Introduction to Kids Yoga Philosophy", an 8 hour anytime online course. Next you will attend "Foundations of Kids Yoga" and then "Warriors of Loving-Kindness"-- these three modules lay the groundwork for understanding compassionate communication, ethics and developmental phases, as well as, how to teach age appropriate sun salutes & storyvinyasa, basic partner yoga, class management and your own self-care! After that you pick either to attend, " Yoga in Schools" & "Tween/Teens" OR the "Family AcroYoga" module. These key pieces of mastery coupled with her background in theater, art, and circus collaborate to create an embodied teaching practice for those who want to share Kids Yoga and Family AcroYoga for others.
