Welcome to CrossYoga's teacher training.

CrossYoga and CrossYoga Academy is based in Europe and reaching out to the whole world. We believe that yoga, movement, breath and meditation, are ways to connect with God so we teach what some call 'Christian yoga'

We love yoga and respect the yoga tradition. We make sure that all students know the traditional way of yoga and we look at the tradition through the lenses of faith.

We offer fully online 200hour trainings in two modules and a +300hr training.

Why should I choose CrossYoga trainings?

Because you'll get a unique, careful and thorough training. We work with a modern perspective of the body, soul and mind and we look back to the east as well as the Church history to gain inspiration and perspectives. We love it when theology comes to live.

During the 200hr training you'll learn:

*The origin and development of yoga

*Meditation and various meditation techniques *Yoga anatomy - what does yoga do to the body and mind? *Christian theology and yoga philosophy *Ethics and good practice as a yoga instructor *CrossYoga - the story behind the network and vision for Europe *Going deep into yoga poses (asana) including seated and standing positions, forward bends, side bends, etc. There is a focus on good ‘body posture’ and we'll talk about how you guide others *Different types of yoga e.g. vinyasa, flow, power and yin yoga *Sequencing  *The use of props likes blocks, chairs and straps *Yoga as a way to get physical and mental health *To instruct a session with ‘hands-on assistance’ *Introduction to children's yoga and senior yoga *To start your own team and development a yoga instructor *Getting out there: Marketing

Registration deadline and prices you'll also find at the website. We also offer grants!

For the +300hr training, we offer a payment structure that is dependent on your household income so you can join no matter what income level, culture and country.

Helene Foerrislund - Build Team Balance RYT® 200 · Mar 16, 2026

I'm so happy I chose CrossYoga for my 200 hour Yoga teacher education. I found the teachings very intersting and competently delivered. I appreciated the balance between history, philosophy, anatomy and the practical work with postures. It has been a rewarding and deeply interesting journey on every level: physically, mentally, spiritually and for the soul. I can highly recommend CrossYoga, especially if you are a Christian and wondering whether your faith and yoga can go hand in hand.
