In our Registered Children’s Yoga School, you choose to become an instructor or earn the international RCYT credential! Our YTT program is grounded in cultural appreciation, social justice, multiple languages, original curricula. BIPOC scholarships available. Our program features:

ability to select 1 training to become an instructor, or take 5+ (you can customize) to be certified/RCYT certificates of hours and course completion, and follow up coaching Educational and neuroscience theories Research-Informed Mindfulness Techniques Trauma-informed offering multiple movement modalities Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Self-Regulation Strategies

September 18-19, 9am-6pm; Post Oak Middle School, Houston, TX, and zoom

*Yoga and Mindfulness in Schools

October 16-17, 9am-6pm; Post Oak Middle School, Houston, TX, and zoom

Yoga and Mindfulness for Tweens and Teens

December 4-5; 9am-6pm

Yoga and Mindfulness for Youth with Differing Abilities and Unexpected Life Changes:

January 15-16; 9am-6pm

Mindfulness and Meditation for Youth:

March 5-6; 9am-6pm

Creativity Lab: Connecting Mindfulness, Yoga and the Creative Arts

April 2-3; 9am-6pm

Investment:

Single Trainings: $375 (2 weeks out and for PreK-12 teachers); $450 within 14 days of start of training RCYT (any 5 trainings with 10% off): $1675.00 BONUS: Sign up for RCYT by September 1 and receive 6th training for free

Yogiños: Yoga for Youth®’s Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher Training Program* is led by our founder, Beth Reese, PhD, E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP, and Meredith Paterson, MA, RYT, RCYT, featuring guest experts and teachers.

Become an instructor, earn CEUs, or become eligible to be a certified Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) empowered to teach mindfulness and yoga to youth and families of all ages, in different environments. For over a decade, our Yoga Teacher Training program has been grounded in evidence-based learning theories and practices, neuroscience, and trauma-informed approaches.

As a Registered Children’s Yoga School (RCYS), we can offer the official RCYT credential through live stream training, empowering you to be eligible for Yoga Alliance’s RCYT certification.

These trainings can be combined with past in-person and on-line Yogiños: Yoga for Youth® courses or future in-person trainings to become eligible to be a certified RCYT.
