FUNCTIONAL HUMAN MOVEMENT PHILOSOPHY
In addition to her studies with A.T. Still University, Stacy is a Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Every class Dave & Stacy teach incorporates elements of functional training. This makes classes variable, fun, and educational. They have both gone through their share of injuries in their early days of yoga and now consider long-term sustainability a priority with their students. Stacy is the author of Embodied Posture: Your Unique Body and Yoga. It is an in-depth structural anatomy text that emphasizes structural variability and it’s implications in postural alignment. Their goal is to empower others with a heightened awareness and ability to take personal wellness back into their own hands.
MINDFUL AWARENESS & EMBODIMENT
We believe that yoga is a human practice that should not be reserved for a select percentage of the population. Mindful awareness (MA) is a non-exclusive practice that incorporates the nectar of yogic philosophy. We train teachers to share the practice of MA through the most relatable elements of humanness—breath and body. We will teach you proven methods and techniques to awaken kinesthetic awareness and breath control with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, functional human movement, and science-based aspects of mindfulness. Embodied Posture Methodology, or EPM, empowers you to align yoga postures to best suit your uniqueness. Through over 25 years of studying the human body and teaching yoga, Stacy Dockins developed this innovative approach that integrates bio-individuality and long-term, sustainable functional wellness. Combining body awareness, science, and exploration, Stacy & Dave will teach practical information you can immediately apply on your mat to your students.

Yoga Project School of Yoga provided a thorough and educational training program. The 300 HR program offered virtual, in-person, and self study teachings. The group discussions and feedback were beneficial to my growth in addition to the education materials. I highly recommend Dave and Stacy Dockins for training programs, workshops, and yoga sessions.
