Associazione Yogananda’s aim is to promote yoga as a state of consciousness and to deepen the sharing and transmission of such research in a way that the potential of yoga can be at the service of society. Associazione Yogananda is a non-profit organization founded with the aim of teaching and spreading the discipline of Yoga. It is a safe meeting place for all who are interested in the practice of Yoga. The yoga programs are structured to balance and stimulate, with gradual progression, the vital forces that act inside the body which are responsible for maintaining the physiological functions of the body and the psychic realm. The practice of yoga is also positive for children and adolescents who can improve concentration and learn the practices of attentiveness and the power of silence. Currently there are Hatha and Ashtanga yoga classes for adults, children and for pregnant women. The annual program develops through theoretical and practical classes. The courses are divided into three levels: basic ,intermediate and advanced (for those who are interested in a more intense practice of asana, pranayama and satkriya). The lessons are thorough with seminars on topics of great interest and practical utility such as breathing, meditation, purification, mantra, the practice of silence, yama niyama, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Nada Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
