Since 2006 Yoga Trinity has shared comprehensive yoga teacher training programs in Canada, Australia, and online around the world. In 2020 we adapted our teacher training offerings to better meet the needs of our students.
What we’ve heard from you: you want to have more choice in training options, to be able start your training when you like and work at your own pace, but still have lots of support and opportunities for engaging with lead trainers and fellow teachers to develop your yoga community.
We’ve responded by streamlining our teacher training offerings with accessible, progressive training levels which offer a layered approach, scaffolding and building on each level of learning.
Our programs will now be offered online (self-study), virtual (zoom workshops), and blended face-to-face + online. All training options include weekly virtual coaching, one-to-one mentoring, and ongoing support throughout your studies and beyond.
Our training options have changed, but the foundation of our courses remains the same – accessible, inclusive, evidence-based, and heart-centered training.
Training Options:
50-hour Vinyasa Flow Foundations Online allows you to have a 'taste' of the the teacher training experience.
100-Hour Vinyasa Flow Fundamentals Virtual or Blended face-to-face + online gives you a chance to dive deeper into your yoga practice, begin to explore yoga philosophy, and develop a home practice.
200-hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training gives you a strong foundation of learning and practical experience in areas of philosophy, practice, teaching skills and ethics, anatomy, and yoga business. You might want to begin your professional teaching practice upon completion or take what you’ve learned back to your practice. Yoga Alliance RYT-200, Yoga Australia 200-hour, AUSactive 200-hour + 15 CECs.
350-hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training gives you a comprehensive education in Vinyasa Flow practice, teaching skills and strategies, anatomy and physiology, yoga business, and a deeper dive into yoga philosophy. This course includes live Zoom workshops where we can dig into our studies together, ask questions, get feedback, and engage in discussions on all aspects of yoga practice and teaching. Yoga Alliance RYT-200, Yoga Australia 350-hour Level 1, AUSactive 350-hour Level 1 + 15 CECs.
300-hour Postgraduate Yoga Teacher Training is offered in both Online (self-study) and Virtual (Zoom workshops) formats. Exploring a multidisciplinary approach to yoga teaching, this postgraduate training includes study units in Vinyasa Flow, Core Yoga, Mind Body Meditation, Energetic Anatomy, Sequencing & Theming, Ayurveda and more. Yoga Alliance RYT-300, Yoga Australia APD/CPD 300-hour, AUSactive 22 CECs.

· Study materials include training manuals, videos, audio discussions, slide decks, reading selections, flow charts and sample sequences, printable practice and teaching cards, podcasts and sample business forms.

Yoga Australia: 200-hour, 350-hour, and 300-hour postgraduate registration levels. Online teaching provision is now permanent.

Every teacher has a unique voice, and our programs are designed to provide the foundation of education, philosophy, technical study, and practice to help each teacher discover their own unique gifts and become a confident, skillful, and inspiring Yoga Teacher.
The Benefits of Studying With Yoga Trinity Include:
Programs are registered both internationally with Yoga Alliance, and within Australia with Yoga Australia, Yoga Alliance, and AUSactive. As well, many courses will give you CECs/CPDs (continuing education credits) with your yoga, fitness or massage organization.
Yoga Trinity programs have been designed by lead trainer Heather Agnew. As a senior instructor, Heather has taught over 20,000 hours of teacher training, and has a wealth of experience in practice, teaching, and mind-body-business to share.
Class sizes are limited to ensure you receive personal attention and support in your practice and studies
If you are eager to dive deep into your studies and complete your certificate, you can begin your Online Study as soon as you register and complete all course components in as little as 3-4 months, and then rely on ongoing support as you begin your teaching practice.
If life commitments are keeping you busy, you can take up to 24 months to complete your course components, and rely on ongoing support throughout your studies and practice.
One-to-one mentoring is part of your teacher training – and you can use your mentoring sessions before, during, or after your training and focus in on areas of exploration where you wish to have guidance and support, including practice, technical study, philosophy, teaching methodology, and business.
