I had a wonderful experience with the Yoga Bharati teacher training program. The coursework was well-structured, informative, and truly reflected the Complete Yoga approach, which I could deeply relate to. I also appreciated how inclusive and respectful the program was toward all practices and traditions. While I would have loved the opportunity to attend in person rather than online, the program was still highly engaging and valuable. Overall, I would strongly recommend this training to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of yoga.
I started the Yoga Bharati RYT200 course in Jan 2024, mostly online but included few in-person Yoga retreats and clinics. I learnt Yoga as a child in the school in India and know some concepts but this course taught me comprehensively, connecting many dots and showing the bigger picture. The lectures from experts in Yoga, doctors and spiritual gurus were great to understand the multiple dimensions of Yoga. The material provided was extensive, easy to follow and refer. The training included online classes for about five months followed by shadowing other teachers and asking questions, teaching under observation by experienced teachers and incorporating their feedback, quizzes, tests and then finally choosing a topic, researching and preparing a detailed final report, which was thoroughly reviewed and evaluated. The research and report part took some time but I am glad I was able to do it with the help from experienced teachers and guides. Overall I really enjoyed the well thought out course structure, expert teachers, guides, mentors and listening and learning from doctors and experts. It is an experiential and transformative course I would say.
