Sunshine School of Yoga is an accredited school registered with Yoga Alliance, the governing body of yoga. We began our School of Yoga to train yoga teachers to find their voice and listen to their hearts when connecting with yoga students.

School of Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training Program focuses on two 100-hour modules, the Science and History of Yoga and the Art of Teaching Yoga. We explore posture, breath work, mindful meditation, and the science behind it. We will move deeper to understand anatomy, the benefits of movement, yoga history, and an exploration of the eight limbs of yoga. We learn to connect to our personal strengths and find our voice as a teacher. These modules cultivate each individual to be the best teacher they can be.

Our 300-Hour Advanced Training and Certification will help 200-hour certified Yoga Teachers advance their skill set to achieve more excellent command of their voice as a teacher while enriching their knowledge of yoga. Our 300-Hour program is a Hybrid model that meets in person one weekend a month, and the remainder of the training is done virtually.

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training offers a transformative learning experience for aspiring yoga instructors to deepen their practice and expand their teaching skills.

Yoga Alliance designates these Teacher Training programs that meet or exceed the Yoga Alliance Standards. Students who complete this verified training will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher or RYT.

Our School was founded in 2016 with a commitment to digging deep into the roots of yoga to expand our knowledge and understanding of yoga. As our Teacher Trainees go through the program, they are taught to look deep within themselves to find motivation and healing. This process ensures that the best Yoga Teachers graduate and move on to share their gifts. This year’s in-person training will be held at our NEW location in Historic Downtown Mansfield at 125 North Main Street, Mansfield, TX 76063.
