Sarria Yoga Asana

Hello, I am Issa. Training as an ashtanga teacher with Santiago Pinto at Sarria Yoga was an incredibly enriching experience. Santiago, my dear teacher, has the grace to transmit the ashtanga method. He teaches the traditional method of practice, with the counting in Sanskrit, and from scratch each of the postures, both for beginners and for more advanced practitioners. Santiago has the technique to teach and the closeness to adapt. He is a caring, friendly, and very generous teacher. Additionally, the school conveys peace, its location is fantastic, in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Barcelona. My experience with the teacher training program at Yoga Sarria´ was wonderful! It was a perfect blend of the science and art of Ashtanga Yoga, providing me with a solid foundation of the Yoga Anatomy and philosophical principles of the practice, while at the same time encouraging personal exploration and creativity. Santiago Pinto is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and skilled at conveying all of the information in a clear and accessible manner. Over the years, Yoga Sarria' has become my yoga home, Santiago succeeds in creating an atmosphere of authenticity, warmth that is reflected in the caring instructors. Moreover, after the TT I had the opportunity to assistantship Santiago during the classes and I learned more, it was definitely another experience that I put in practice what I studied. The decision to sign up for TT at Yoga Sarria' was an investment in my practice and myself that I am grateful that I made!
