I completed my YTT at Mystic School (now Nirvana Yoga Shala) back in 2016 and it was one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had. I especially loved learning from Surya. Because my group was small (just 5 of us total) the training felt intimate, personal and really supportive.
Karthik is an amazing teacher and he really respects the safety of the body while teaching classes, as well as when and teaching us methodology. I got a really strong foundation and learned a lot thanks to him and because of the small size of the methodology class we could really focus on what mattered and what we needed to learn in order to become good teachers individually. Also, I am glad that we did our yoga practice with people who were practicing there in long term or dropping in - most of them were yoga teachers themselves and I truly understand why they had chosen to come to practice with Karthik.
