Namaste Yoga (Royal Oak)
About Namaste Yoga (Royal Oak)
Namaste Yoga is based in Royal Oak, Michigan and has been providing 200-hour yoga teacher training for over 25 years. The program is not only well established and respected, but continues to evolve to include the newest understandings of yoga philosophy, benefits of yoga, accessibility, inclusivity, and best practices. The goal of our program is to have students prepared to teach a safe, well-planned Hatha Yoga class that encompasses all levels.
We are a Level I Magnet School for the International Institute of Yoga Therapy. Students who attend our 200 hour program will not only be prepared to provide safe, accessible classes in any setting, they will also gain advanced knowledge of yoga in the bigger landscape of wellness and health. Our focus on continually centering and honoring yoga philosophy provides students of our program a truly unique and comprehensive foundational yoga teacher training experience.
In addition to required Yoga Alliance topics, graduates will learn about:
Restorative Yoga (with an opportunity to complete a full certification)
Yin Yoga
Prenatal Yoga
We require all students to complete a teaching mentorship with one of our instructors to ensure they are fully prepared to teach.
