Yama Yoga International started as a local studio in Doha, Qatar but has grown to an international program offering classes, programs and trainings on-line, in Koh Phangan, Thailand at Ananda Yoga and Detox Center, at our summer retreat center near Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria and with our partners in Muscat Oman. In all locations we offer knowledgeable and thorough yoga instruction. Registered with Yoga Alliance since 2007 we have graduated over 500 200-hour yoga teachers and close to 200 300-hour teachers.
Our classes and trainings draw from a number of traditional lineages of yoga with particular focus on Ashtanga to build strength, stamina and mindfulness, Vinyasa Flow for freedom, creativity and personal exploration, Yin and Restorative for rest and fascial well-being and myafascial release for healing. We also offer mindfulness, meditation, and pranayama courses and classes to our participants. We welcome all levels of students from beginner to advanced and collaborate often with international teachers to ensure that we stay current with contemporary practices.
