Yogatreat offers a practical and in-depth
Anatomy Yin & Yang Yoga Teacher Training.
This teacher training increases your anatomical and energetic knowledge, which you will learn to apply practically. You will also deepen your own meditation and yoga practice, as well as your teaching skills. You will explore yoga philosophy, broaden your self-knowledge through reflection and guidance, and learn how to use this knowledge to educate and inspire others.
The safety of your future students is the primary objective in the teacher training of 200 hours. Therefore, much attention is spent on (energetic) anatomy and how to practically apply this knowledge in yoga poses. By highlighting the unique individuality of the human body, we can avoid unnecessary pain, injury and incorrect conclusions and / or behaviour. This knowledge will be shared with wisdom and compassion.
To be able to teach creative and safe yoga classes, the training will include intensive practices involving teaching, sequencing, adjusting and the usage of props. Experimenting and reflecting on both your personal meditation and yoga practice will be continuously encouraged. The progress of your practice will be supported with guidance.
Besides the physical practice, you will also explore the energetic, emotional and mental aspects of a yoga practice. To be able to recognise and understand these subtle processes, you will study the Sutras, basic principles of Taoism and Meridian Chakra Theory.
This knowledge will enable you to offer your future students greater support during their meditation and/or yoga practice.
Within the Anatomy Yin & Yang Yoga Teacher Training, the combination of (energetic) anatomy, philosophy and personal development will offer insight into the physical, emotional and energetic body, enabling you to playfully explore the endless possibilities of life and your own personal path (Dharma / Tao).

An incredibly inspiring course offered by Yogatreat. Under José De Groot’s expert guidance, we took a deep dive into the fascinating world of Yin Yoga, its functional approach to physical movement and what lies behind it, and the balance that can be achieved through meridians theory and working with our energetic body. José paced this course beautifully, giving us time to study and assimilate all concepts being explored. The study groups were a real gift, providing a dependable support structure and sounding board for the practices and assignments throughout. At the heart of it all was José's unwavering openness, kindness and support, providing us with continuous motivation and inspiration. The online format was so very welcome, as it was the only way that I was going to be able to participate. It's clear that José has put a lot of thought into the course's structure and delivery as an online project, and it works seamlessly. Overall this has been an invaluable journey, of not only developing my knowledge of Yin Yoga but also of personal growth. A unique and truly special experience that I highly recommend.
José is a passionate and compassionate teacher who has an amazing wealth of knowledge and skills to deliver teacher training. The course was everything i thought it would be and more and i feel so blessed to have been part of it. Would highly recommend the school to anyone considering teacher training.
