A sanctuary of yogic wisdom and holistic learning, proudly recognized as a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance. Our school stands as a beacon of yogic excellence, following Yoga Alliance’s rigorous standards in our transformative teacher training programs. Upon completion, our students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs), a testament to the comprehensive education they receive.

Our Rich History and Vision

Established in April 2018 by Thina Chat, Yoga Fusion Shala has been a prominent fixture in Ioannina, fostering the practice of yoga in its diverse forms. More than a yoga studio, our space is a vibrant community hub, uniting practitioners from various backgrounds on their yogic journey. Our founder’s vision extends beyond physical postures, embracing the essence of community and unity among all seekers.

A Multifaceted Yogic Experience

At Yoga Fusion Shala, we take pride in offering a diverse array of yoga styles, ranging from the dynamic Ashtanga led and Mysore practices to the meditative Yin, the spiritual depth of Sivananda, the dynamic flow of Shiva Shakti Vinyasa, and the precision of Iyengar yoga. We draw inspiration from spiritual luminaries like Nisargadatta Maharaj and Ramana Maharshi, integrating their teachings into our practice and guidance. Our teachings are rooted in profound philosophies such as Patanjali's Raja Yoga and the transformative path of Advaita Vedanta, non-dualism, and the science of oneness,  a field where ancient philosophy meets modern science and Cosmology.

A Holistic Learning Environment

Beyond daily group and private classes, Yoga Fusion Shala serves as an educational epicenter. We host YACEP® workshops and Yoga Teacher Training Courses, empowering individuals to deepen their understanding of yoga and become certified teachers. Additionally, our school offers Certified Massage Training Courses, spreading the healing touch to those passionate about the art of massage traditions.

A Space To Withdraw, Reflect and Retreat

In 2020, we expanded our offerings by creating the Urban Yoga House Hostel & Retreat space. This extension allows yogis and yoginis from around the world to retreat in our peaceful abode, harmonizing practice with rest, and immersing themselves in the unique blend of yoga and leisure. Located in the heart of Ioannina, our space provides an opportunity to explore the city's historical richness and the natural splendor that surrounds it.
