Clara offers a challenging and in-depth advanced teacher training. Through the three modules, we tackled the heart of yoga philosophy, movement theory, sequencing, yoga lifestyle and ethics, and had the opportunity to advance our teaching through multiple practicums. Clara encouraged discussion and critical thinking, and was eager to hear about our experiences and inspirations. The course readings, class planing exercises and written assignments helped deepen my understanding of yoga immeasurably. I highly recommend her training for any serious student wanting to dive deep with a highly experienced and endlessly creative teacher.
Carolyn and Clara are compassionate, informed, and inclusive teachers. From the great work they put into the comprehensive teaching manual and the thorough in-person teaching weekends, to the way they show up in their communities and continue to hold space for students, I can't sing their praises loudly enough. Their practices and teaching styles are complementary and make being in time and space with them a real joy. I know immediately if I'm in a class and the teacher has trained with Clara or Carolyn, most often because of the way they gently and safely make suggestions, hold space, and create a microcosm for the duration of the class where only you and the folks around you matter.
