About this retreat
Whether you are interested in teaching yoga or looking for inspiration Sun Yoga’s Teacher Training and Immersion Program will support you. Since 2016, our 200 hour program has helped practitioners to integrate and live yoga beyond the mat. Our small group size (limit 8) and course design allow time to focus on specific areas of interest with personalized mentoring in a comprehensive and cohesive program.
This Immersion follows the 8 Limb Path of Yoga and the teachings of the Yoga Sutras. Our program provides the tools to build a strong foundation, allowing yoga to be accessible and easily implemented in daily life. Our experienced teachers will guide you in exploring the depth of yoga practice while supporting your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Students interested in teaching yoga will graduate from our program fully prepared to create and teach Hatha yoga classes in a safe and supportive manner.
The immersion and teacher training will cover all required elements outlined by Yoga Alliance.
Individual and small group sessions will be one weekend per month over an eight-month period. In addition, the group will also meet one weekday evening.
Required homework readings and exercises are an essential part of the training.
