Nereya Yoga School is a yoga education institution for sincere spiritual seekers founded by Carolina Benzi.

Our mission is to create teachers and practitioners who are not only knowledgeable but also capable of embodying the principles of yoga with depth, integrity, and confidence.

Our teachings are based on traditional yogic paths, the eternal teachings of Bhakti (devotion), Karma (selfless action), Jñana (study of Self Scriptures), Hatha Yoga (cultivation of force and effort) and Raja (the yoga of highest meditation). Our philosophy is inspired by non-dual Advaita Vedanta and non dual Tantra, embracing spiritual seeking in a non-ascetic, householder-friendly approach. Our teachers are deeply experienced, compassionate, and trained in lineage-based practices, ensuring a well-rounded education.
Nereya Yoga School is a sanctuary for sincere yoga students and a community committed to transformative education. The name “NEREYA” was inspired by the Nereids—benevolent sea nymphs from Greek mythology known to protect water people on long, difficult journeys. This image resonated deeply with the founder, Carolina Benzi, as both a lover of the ocean and as someone who understands the inner journey that yoga requires. Our education is rooted in serious, rigorous study. We do not settle for the bare minimum: we ensure that our students feel fully equipped and confident not only in what they learn but also in their ability to continue seeking, practicing, and overcoming difficulties along the way.
