About this retreat

OUR TENETS:

Your essence is unconditional love.

Yoga changes the world through transforming individual lives.

No one is free until we are all free.

We believe in the power of yoga to heal.
The time is now.

OUR MISSION:
At the Laughing River School of Yoga, we believe that having the courage, dedication, and patience
to honestly know oneself is essential for teaching inspired yoga classes, having a positive impact on your students, and for upholding the promise of yoga as a pathway towards liberation. We must first be willing to take responsibility for ourselves as individuals in the world.

What does it mean to take responsibility for one’s self in the world?

We are willing to look at ourselves with absolute honesty and lovingly accept where we are now to initiate positive, realistic, and sustainable change.

We are committed to clarifying our core ethical values and working diligently to align our actions in the world with those values.

We can think for ourselves and trust our intuition and wisdom.

We are willing to embrace the entirety of who we are to truly step into the world from a place of empowered authenticity.

The Laughing River School of Yoga is designed to create a safe, supportive, and compelling environment for trainees to embark on this fierce and rewarding journey toward becoming a more conscious and kind-hearted person in the world. This journey will unfold over our months-long trainings, and the friends and community that we build over this time will be invaluable to our efforts.

We are committed to doing the hard work it takes to live in alignment with our values, embrace our raw humanness, and access our unlimited potential and hope to fearlessly inspire others to do the same.
