About this retreat
Karuna Yoga @ Blyss offers Vinyasa yoga teacher training instruction, with Immersion in classical Raja Yoga path. All the facets of yoga are studied and practiced, including advanced practicing such as psychic development. It is taught and practiced with the heart of Karuna guru Sri Dharma Mittra.
We have moved from Florida to beautiful Sugarbush Valley to expand my longtime farm animal rescue sanctuary, in conjunction with Blyss Yoga Vermont. BLYSS stands for Blueberry Lake Yoga Sanctuary and Studio and we have two beautiful locations here- one in town in historic Waitsfield House and the other retreat center on pristine Blueberry Lake. Here, we can accommodate travelers who wish to study and practice in the most peaceful setting, surrounded by the Green Mountains of Vermont. Camping, kayaking, picking wild berries, vegan feasts, fire pit circles… so many magical experiences can enhance your training here. Students will also be able to interact with the friendly farm rescue animals!
All teaching including teacher training is also available online!!
The course is designed to give teachers special insights and abilities to decipher the messages from within themselves… to develop and use their own intuition to understand themselves and their students. With this special sight, (we call intuition), we are able to become very powerful teachers not only offering a series of postures but deep examination of the body and within. From this, we may develop abilities and teach others to as well… to achieve things beyond our wildest expectations.
Whether it be a foot behind a head, a stand on one arm, or the deepest sense of calm, bliss and understanding, yoga is the way and the specific techniques it shares for advancement are all taught here to be used and shared with others, as students and teachers.
