200 Hour Foundational & 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
Programs starting September 2021


200 Hour YTT:
This comprehensive 7 month program will transform your practice and deepen your understanding of Yoga. Whether you plan to teach Yoga or develop your own personal practice, our teacher training program will give you the knowledge to teach safely, effectively and with integrity. We believe Yoga is for everyone and our program makes yoga accessible to people of all ages and ability levels.

This 200-hour teacher training will build a strong foundation to launch you from Yoga student to Yoga Teacher. By studying the fluidity of Vinyasa Yoga and Baptiste Inspired Power Flow, you'll understand the lineage and power of Ashtanga Yoga as well as the meticulous alignment and sequencing of Iyengar Yoga. You will receive a thorough understanding in asana, alignment, anatomy, hands on assisting, sequencing, philosophy, Prenatal yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama and so much more!


300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (AYTT):

The Halifax Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training Program is designed to offer teachers at the 200-hour level a powerful training to strengthen their existing foundation. We will work with each instructors strengths as well as refine skills in communication, leadership, studying the energetics in the room, yogic philosophy and advanced anatomy. We will study this comprehensive curriculum with an emphasis on building powerful and healthy communities and deepening our commitment to the path of a teacher with honour and confidence.

Halifax Yoga 300 Hour Teacher Training modules will be scheduled throughout the next 2 years. A variety of in-depth studies will be offered from which you may select trainings based on your availability and interests.
