About this retreat
Down Dog Sedona's ownership has more than 50-years of collective
experience in education and learning and development. As such, we feel as though we are uniquely
qualified and positioned to make your RYT-200 experience inspirational,
engaging, empowering, and enriching. With a strict adherence to Yoga Alliance’s
requirement to teach to the Elevated Standards’ core competencies, Down Dog Sedona’s
robust and comprehensive yoga teacher training curriculum is not only steeped
in yogic philosophy and traditions but steeped in educational psychology and
adult learning theory.
We will engage you with YA's core curriculum and competency requirements, and include introductions and familiarizations to Sound Healing, Private Event-type Yoga, and so much more.
Additionally, Elle Everett, Down Dog Sedona’s owner and lead instructor is an Ayurvedic
Health Counselor (graduate of Kripalu’s School of Ayurveda). Elle has woven
Ayurvedic philosophy, tools and techniques throughout the curriculum.
