Ananda Yoga School of India offers classical spiritual yoga education, thoughtfully designed for modern times. We believe yoga can create a joyful vitality for the body, mind and soul and the true purpose of yoga is to awaken higher awareness. We invite you to a journey of Self Awareness and Ananda(inner joy). Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda created, a popular branch of hatha Yoga known as Ananda Yoga, emphasising the original, spiritual approach to yoga, over fifty years ago. He emphasised the awareness of flow of energy in the body and tuning into the spiritual qualities of the asanas by using mental affirmations, which makes the practise magnetic and uplifting. We are registered with International Yoga Alliance and offer internationally accredited 200 hours and 300 hours certified Yoga Teacher Training Programs. Several hundred student have attended our teacher training programs and teach Ananda Yoga classes, workshops and retreats around the world.
