About this retreat
Melding dynamic vinyasa with precise alignment, Absolute Yoga's Refined Flow Teacher Training will enable students and aspiring teachers alike to explore a comprehensive, embodied practice whether they are looking to deepen their own personal yoga experience or guide others in theirs. The Refined Flow approach focuses on proper alignment of asanas (postures), meditation and pranayama, with in-depth studies in anatomy and physiology as they relate to yoga, philosophy, teaching skills and the business of yoga.
This program meets the highest standards set by Yoga Alliance and is designed for experienced yoga practitioners (with at least one year of practice) who are committed to deepening their practice and their understanding of yoga. We believe that establishing a firm foundation in your own yoga practice is key to becoming an inspiring yoga teacher.

In a nourishing and intimate environment, the Absolute Yoga Teacher Training 200 hour program prepares you to take on the role of the teacher by providing you with a well-rounded Yoga Alliance approved curriculum that includes:

Physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of asana, pranayama and meditation

Over 108 asana fully explained, exploring alignment cues, benefits, modifications and adjustments and assist, including Sanskrit names.

Anatomy and physiology of the physical body and subtle energy body as it relates to yoga

History and philosophy of yoga, including major schools and various approaches and styles

Precise techniques for guiding your students with alignment and compassion

Looking at bodies: Observation, verbal and physical adjustments
